Through planned giving, you can:
Include HCM in your will or trust
Name HCM as a beneficiary of your IRA, life insurance policy, or donor-advised fund (DAF)
Make non-cash gifts such as securities, stocks, or bonds
HCM now offers FreeWill, a complimentary online tool to create a legally valid will or trust—completely free to our donors and supporters. Whether you’re planning your first will or updating an existing one, this is our gift to you for supporting our mission.

Do you have an IRA, 401(k), life-insurance policy, or any other assets not included in your will? If so, these are called non-probate assets and you must plan your beneficiaries for them separately. Gifts of Securities
Making a gift of appreciated stock is a simple and tax-wise way to support Holy Cross Ministries’ mission of providing health, education, and justice services to underserved communities in Utah.
In addition to stocks, we gratefully accept non-cash donations such as bonds and other financial instruments. These types of gifts may allow you to avoid capital gains taxes while still receiving a charitable deduction. Most importantly, your contribution goes directly to supporting programs that serve those who need it most.
How to Give
- Request the secure account details for transferring stock.
- Your broker initiates the transfer to Holy Cross Ministries.
- Notify us of your gift so we can acknowledge it properly for tax purposes.
Important: For security, we do not post our account number publicly. Only verified donors who request the information will receive it.
