Preschool Teacher Assistant

Holy Cross Ministries’ School Readiness Program is looking for a full-time preschool teacher assistant who wants to make a difference in the lives of children. We are looking for an individual who wants to bring creativity into the classroom while embracing the joys of working with children. Our commitment is to hire a teacher assistant who can provide a fun, safe and loving atmosphere at school. Please note that this is a year-round position.

This position is full time with benefits. Hourly wages: $16

In addition to the single full-time position, this position is also one that can be job shared as two part-time positions should that be more convenient for students. It may be shared with two persons taking one half day each or two persons taking two classroom days each per week and one half day of prep. Applicants interested in job sharing should apply jointly. Please note that this is a year-round position and part-time positions do not include benefits.

CLIENT SUPPORT SPECIALIST– FULL-TIME POSITION

Objeto del puesto:

Responsabilidades:

  • Sirve como miembro del personal de HCM comprometido con el cumplimiento de la misión de HCM al servicio de clientes, voluntarios y entre sí en un ambiente de hospitalidad que se caracteriza por la cooperación y una relación positiva y respetuosa con todas las personas.
  • Cobra tarifas a los clientes por los servicios del programa
  • Clasifica y distribuye correo
  • Organiza y ordena suministros de oficina según lo solicitado
  • Realiza proyectos administrativos ad-hoc para la administración de agencias

  • Fluidez oral y escrita en inglés y español
  • Se prefiere experiencia previa en recepción y administración general de oficinas.

PROMOTORA/COMMUNITY HEALTH WORKER (FULL-TIME POSITION)

Holy Cross Ministries (HCM) is seeking a Promotora/Community Health Worker who will work to provide informal counseling, share appropriate health information and resources, and build community capacity to address underlying causes of health inequities. The promotor(a)’s role is to become a subject matter expert on population health, particularly issues that affect disadvantaged populations such chronic health disease prevention and preventive health care practices, while maintaining cultural awareness and sensitivity to facilitate rapport with disadvantaged populations.

The primary focus of this role will be on assisting clients with applying for health insurance while still supporting clients with other social determinants of health needs. This promotor(a) may be deployed to a partner clinic in Summit County or Salt Lake County.

The qualified candidate will demonstrate Spanish fluency, as this is a required element for this position. Additionally, the qualified candidate having previous experience working with DWS or assisting in Medicaid applications is preferred. For more information about this position, please click here.

LEGAL ASSISTANT– PART-TIME POSITION

Objeto del puesto:

The Legal Assistant will work under the direction of Immigration Program Administration in providing administrative and clerical support to the attorneys and accredited representatives (DOJs) in the Immigration Department.  This support can range from scheduling appointments and answering legal client calls to preparing legal forms, preparing correspondences, and researching legal materials relevant to a case. The incumbent works collaboratively with other legal staff members to assure cases are efficiently managed. While this position will begin at 29 hrs per week, it may grow into a full-time position with benefits.

Responsabilidades:

  • Records information from meetings or other formal proceedings
  • Coordinates legal schedules or activities and prepares correspondences
  • Performs other duties as assigned by Immigration Program Administration

SCHOOL READINESS PROGRAM CLEANING CLASSROOM ASSISTANT

Holy Cross Ministries is seeking a cleaning classroom assistant for its School Readiness Program. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we need to ensure our preschool students and teachers are safe in a clean and sanitized environment. This classroom assistant will be responsible for cleaning certain parts of the school site following health and safety guidelines.

  • Sanitizing the classroom at the end of the day
