HOLY CROSS MINISTRIES MEETS THOUSANDS OF FAMILIES' BASIC NEEDS FOR HEALTH AND WELL-BEING EVERY YEAR
BACKGROUND
In 1994 when Holy Cross Ministries was founded as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, our work began with the Promotor/a Outreach Program. The Promotoras (health outreach workers) served as an innovative response to the varied needs of under-insured families living in Utah. We have partnered with low-income health clinics for nearly the past two decades, bringing these services to individuals who need them most.
COUNSELING PROGRAM
HCM offers in-house counseling services to victims of crime through our bicultural/bilingual therapists.

Promotor/a Outreach Program
HCM has six bilingual, bicultural outreach workers – known as Promotoras – who are based in the community and low-income clinics throughout Northern Utah. They teach regular prenatal health classes and provide case management, support group, health access, referral, and translation services.
