El Programa de Preparación Escolar de Holy Cross Ministries busca un maestro de preescolar que quiera hacer una diferencia en la vida de los niños. CLIENT SUPPORT SPECIALIST– FULL-TIME POSITION

Objeto del puesto:

Responsabilidades:

PROMOTORA/COMMUNITY HEALTH WORKER (FULL-TIME POSITION)

Holy Cross Ministries (HCM) is seeking a Promotora/Community Health Worker who will work to provide informal counseling, share appropriate health information and resources, and build community capacity to address underlying causes of health inequities. The promotor(a)’s role is to become a subject matter expert on population health, particularly issues that affect disadvantaged populations such chronic health disease prevention and preventive health care practices, while maintaining cultural awareness and sensitivity to facilitate rapport with disadvantaged populations.

The primary focus of this role will be on assisting clients with applying for health insurance while still supporting clients with other social determinants of health needs. This promotor(a) may be deployed to a partner clinic in Summit County or Salt Lake County.

The qualified candidate will demonstrate Spanish fluency, as this is a required element for this position. COMMUNICATIONS ASSISTANT

Part Time: 25 hours per week

Description:

Holy Cross Ministries (HCM) is seeking a detail-oriented and digitally-savvy Communications Assistant with strong writing skills and a passion for responding to unmet needs in underserved communities. The Communications Assistant will work under the direction of the Development & Communications Manager to assist in developing, producing, updating and maintaining new and existing agency communication materials for all HCM’s programs. The Communications Assistant will be the lead content creator for all social media platforms and maintain these platforms in order to share information with HCM’s clients, partners and donors.

Responsabilidades:

  • Develop and manage all content for HCM’s social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram and YouTube)
  • Manage content development, editing and publishing of HCM’s quarterly newsletter
  • Assist the Development & Communications Manager and Director of Development with agency communications including but not limited to agency brochures, press releases, action alert e-mails and campaign-specific materials (digital and print)
  • Manage and further develop the organization’s website through coordination with the external webmaster
  • Draft acknowledgement letters for in-kind and cash contributions; Maintain, update and further develop existing Donor Perfect catalogue of donor communication letters
  • Work with HCM staff to create a media library and highlight and promote ongoing events
  • Work closely with the Development & Communications Manager and Director of Development in creating, producing and mailing of event invitations, year-end appeal letters and other fundraising communication campaigns
  • Provide on-site support during all fundraising events. Some evening/weekend work and additional hours may be required during fundraising events.
  • Coordinate with the Chief Executive Officer and board committee chairs to create meeting agendas and record meeting minutes
  • Other duties as assigned by the Development & Communications Manager

Requisitos:

  • A bachelor’s degree or at least two years of relevant work experience
  • Strong writing and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube); Understanding of social media trends and best practices for driving audience engagement
  • Spanish language proficiency is strongly preferred
  • Basic graphic design skills and familiarity with Adobe InDesign and Canva are preferred
  • Basic video editing skills and experience with email marketing are highly desirable

Pay Range: $16 – $18/hourly based on experience

LEGAL ASSISTANT– PART-TIME POSITION

The Legal Assistant will work under the direction of Immigration Program Administration in providing administrative and clerical support to the attorneys and accredited representatives (DOJs) in the Immigration Department.  This support can range from scheduling appointments and answering legal client calls to preparing legal forms, preparing correspondences, and researching legal materials relevant to a case. The incumbent works collaboratively with other legal staff members to assure cases are efficiently managed. While this position will begin at 29 hrs per week, it may grow into a full-time position with benefits.

SCHOOL READINESS PROGRAM CLEANING CLASSROOM ASSISTANT

Holy Cross Ministries is seeking a cleaning classroom assistant for its School Readiness Program. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we need to ensure our preschool students and teachers are safe in a clean and sanitized environment. This classroom assistant will be responsible for cleaning certain parts of the school site following health and safety guidelines.
