HOLY CROSS MINISTRIES SERVES UNDERSERVED CHILDREN AGES 0 TO 4 YEARS OLD IN PARK CITY AND PROVIDES THE ONLY PARENTS AS TEACHERS PROGRAM IN SUMMIT COUNTY
BACKGROUND
In 2000, Sister Mary Ann Pajakowski, CSC, identified a need in Summit County to provide out-of-school-time academic and enrichment activities for underserved children who couldn’t afford the extracurricular activities available in Park City. Holy Cross Ministries has been providing education programming ever since, adapting to the evolving needs of the community. To this day, Sister Mary Ann serves as Director of Education at HCM and oversees each of the following programs:
PARENTS AS TEACHERS (PAT) PROGRAM
HCM provides early childhood education programming and home visits for parents of children ages 0 to 3 years old.

SCHOOL READINESS PROGRAM
HCM provides preschool programming for children through the School Readiness Program in Summit County.

GUIDING GOOD CHOICES WORKSHOPS
HCM offers a series of workshops to empower families to face the challenges of adolescence.

Park City After-School Program update:
In 2016 Holy Cross Ministries combined our After-School Program with the Park City School District Community Education After-School Program. Due to the success of this collaboration, the administration of the After-School Program camps is handled solely by the Park City School District.
