Immigrant victims of domestic abuse form an especially vulnerable segment of our community due to various factors which can be further exacerbated by the individual’s immigration status. In response to this need, and with the support of the Utah Office for Victims of Crime, Holy Cross Ministries’ bilingual, bi-cultural therapists support victims of crime on their paths to recovery by providing holistic support through counseling services.
HCM’s Counseling Program provides the following support services to victims of crime seeking counseling:
- Individual therapy
- Family therapy
- Group therapy
- Domestic violence support group
- Parenting classes

HELP SUPPORT OUR FAMILIES
Holy Cross Ministries works to ensure that everyone is able to participate fully in this community. Many individuals and their families face barriers such as language, culture, abuse, and location. Your support helps us continue offering low-cost services to a critically under-served population.
Help HCM’s Counseling Program better meet the needs of families receiving our services by donating the following new or gently used items for use in our waiting room and therapy sessions:
- Lego blocks
- Art supplies, such as paint, paintbrushes and colored pencils (excluding crayons)
- Board games
- Dollhouse with dolls and other accessories
- “Fidget toys,” including stress balls, fidget spinners and other sensory items
- Children’s books in Spanish
- Weighted blanket
Please contact Communications Specialist Lauren Fields at firstname.lastname@example.org or 385-257-2413 to arrange dropping off items.
