The Promotoras at South Main Clinic, a healthcare center which specializes in low-income children and their mothers, are making some exciting changes for 2012! We will be working more intensively with the pediatricians to help them serve clients better with referrals and translation. The Promotoras are also providing hearing exams for children and families at the clinic.
We are proud to announce that Fanny Vernal, one of our talented Promotoras, will be working full time at the People's Health Clinic in Park City. Her critical contributions to the health care system includes translation; assistance with Medicaid, food stamps, and other programs; and education for parents on how to keep their kids healthy.
