Fanny, from Holy Cross Ministries, came to my door one day and asked me if I needed help. I was pregnant with my third child and my husband lost his construction job so its been a hard winter. I have a part-time job and can't miss any work. We need the money. Fanny told me about the People's Health Clinic and the prenatal classes. I learned about taking vitamins, when to call the doctor, and eating better foods. We learned about the food bank, too--that has really helped.
